Self care for weight-loss

It is so important to have balance in your life. Balancing your energy depleting activities, (ie... work, house cleaning, school, taking care of others etc.) with energy giving activities such as reading a book, exercising or any of the activities listed below will help to get more out of life.

Life can get busy! We forget the small things in life that bring us joy, so purposefully scheduling these activities into your calendar will help you to create that balance in your life and give you a sense of fulfillment. Self care is ANY activity that we do to take care of our mental, physical and emotional health.

When was the last time you did something for yourself? How does that make you feel?

Every month schedule one or two of these things into your calendar to help bring joy and fulfillment to your life.

* 1 lunch date with a friend

* 24 hours with no social media

* 1 Day totally outdoors

* 1 night- out with friends

* 1 Date night ( even if it's with yourself)

* 1 breakfast meetup with friends

* 1 Movie night- at home or out

* 1 Day completely to yourself

* 1 massage

Every day or week, schedule one or two of these things into your calendar to balance your stressful day with a little "Me " time.

* 30-60 min of exercise

* 1 hour reading

* 30-min walk

* 15-min breathe work

* Luxurious Bubble bath

Just by balancing your energy depleting activities with energy giving activities you will feel better and more balanced. You will feel as though you have more energy and get more joy out of life. Weight-loss is not just about the foods you eat, its about the mindset you have, about the stress in your day, the joy in your life.
